Author Tia Fisher visits Year 8 and 9

On Thursday the 24th of May, the Year 8s and 9s had a visit from Tia Fisher, who came to talk to us about her debut novel Crossing the Lines.
She told us about the inspiration for her verse novel about a teenager caught up in a county lines operation.
Tia told about the journey of her life from being a toddler in a baggy bathing suit, to being a Carnegie nominated author. She also explained what a verse novel is and how they are a brilliant way to tell stories.
